Education and Training
As a result of more than 25 years of work and research in the underwater acoustic environment and with the acquired knowledge, SAES offers customers the performance of training courses in specialized topics.
These educational courses study in depth the theoretical physical bases and the operation in the environment, and as a result, users are able to understand the physical principles, improve their skills and optimize the use of the equipment supplied by SAES to obtain the best results.
Among others, SAES offers the following educational courses, adaptable to customer needs, and that can be carried out at SAES facilities as well as at customer’s own:
- Theory of underwater acoustic.
- Sonar detection and classification.
- Operation in sonar environment.
- Theory of vessel signatures.
- Operation in acoustic ASW environment.
Once the final product has been delivered and to enable the usersto have the necessary knowledge and skills to maximize the capabilities of the supplied equipment, SAES offers to its customers the performance of specific training courses for such equipment, both operation and maintenance training, in addition to the technical documentation supplied.
This training takes more sense from the point of view of the periodic change of the crew in charge of equipment in the platforms where they are installed, which makes it necessary, from time to time, to train new users.
For this purpose, SAES has in its facilities suitable equipped rooms and the development systems in the laboratories as support for the practical sessions. Similarly, the training can be performed in-situ at customer’s premises and over the delivered equipment.
Note that SAES technical staff responsible for training courses is the same that was involved in product development so that knowledge transfer is direct and effective, thereby further making easier the resolution of questions that could arise during the training.
