SAES has received contract of EADS-CASA for the Submarine achievement of a course of Acoustics for Tactical Coordinators and Acoustic Operators.

SAES has received an order on the part of EADS-CASA for the Basic achievement of a course of Acoustics in the direction of the Tactical Coordinators and Acoustic Operators who will be a part of the crews of the new planes of marine patrol (MPA) P3A Orión for Brazil. This course is included inside / “ Program of Modernization of the planes P3A Orión ” / / for / Brazilian Air Command (COMAER), and takes as a target to introduce the basic concepts of acoustics submarine, and his application in the antisubmarine struggle. In addition to the theoretical concepts, the course chases his practical application by means of the use of teams of laboratory of measurement and acoustic analysis. As colophon to the practices, SAES will put at the disposal of the pupils an Acoustic System SPAS32 identically to the installed one by SAES in the Planes of Marine Patrol (MPA) P3A Orión. SAES is the supplier of the system ASW of the MPA both for the Spanish EA and for Brazil and Chile. The theoretical content of the course, as well as the associate practices, they have been meticulously prepared in order to provide to the pupil the technical knowledge necessary for the development of his mission, and the skill necessary for the handling and use of the teams installed so much on board of the airship as in the laboratories of analysis in ground and centers of support to the mission. The course has a duration of eight weeks, between ends of February and end of April, 2009.
