It is a private initiative signed by SAES and the University of Murcia in order to promote the research, innovation and knowledge transfer.
SAES and the University of Murcia collaborate for more than ten years.
This initiative, that started in 2009, is focused on the open-source software for real time and critical applications and services. The improvement on the software- development processes and the communications are some of the results of the working group.
The chair has allowed to investigate the development of human-machine interfaces for industrial market and the implementation of communication scenario simulators. Also, the use of of engineering software for model-driven automatic test generation in development process, among other issues, has been carried out.
